Cahn is a veteran of the software industry with strong business development, practice management skills and deep domain expertise across multiple industry verticals. As President and CEO, he is responsible for setting direction and vision for the company and managing Y2G Associates day-to-day operations. A former research director at AMR Research, Cahn previously held managing director positions at KPMG LLP and Answerthink, and performed executive roles at Computer Associates. Cahn is a hands-on leader who is well known to press, analysts, software organizations and consortiums. He has actively participated on software industry panels and conference key notes, relating to directions in distributed computing architectures and enterprise-wide supply-chain management.
Cahn has a B.S. in Business Administration and a strong minor in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University. He also has pursued a M.S. in Computer Science from Hofstra University for two years when he had to discontinue.
Passionate about work and play, Cahn is hopeful that whether he is "sailing to far-away romantic locations, ocean yacht racing, eating baked stuffed lobster; or, grabbing a 'slice of life' piece of pizza, my goal is to help our clients transfer our experiences and theirs' and think outside the box within their careers, so they can enjoy more time with friends and family."
 Olin Thompson has over 25 years executive level experience in providing technology solutions to the process industries. He was a key executive at Marcam Corporation, a pioneer in ERP for the Process Industries where he held executive level sales, marketing and business development positions for over 17 years. During his time at Marcam, he played a key role in growing the business from zero to $200 million in revenue. He now advises technology providers on sales, marketing and business development for increased effectiveness in communicating with the process industries.
Olin has been called “The Father of Process ERP.” He is a frequent author and an award-winning speaker. Olin holds a BS in Engineering and a MBA in Marketing.
His hobbies include fishing, diving, pottery and snow skiing. A seasoned traveler, he has traveled to over 35 countries.
Kent Elmer has 15 years of broad-based experience ranging from Big 4 public accounting to CFO level positions at a variety of companies. Kent began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. After gaining a strong foundation, he made the transition to the private sector.
His public company experience includes various positions including Controller and CFO of a NASDAQ software company (IQ Software Corporation.). He has also been the CFO of a number of early and growth stage technology companies in both software and hardware (Carecentric Solutions, Inc., Digital Furnace, Inc., R.F. Solutions, Inc.).
In addition, Kent spent time on the West Coast with Broadcom Corporation assisting in the acquisition and integration of over 10 early stage companies in a twelve-month period. Every private sector company that Kent has worked for has successfully navigated its way through the acquisition process. Kent is currently providing CFO and related services to early and growth stage technology companies in the Southeast region.
 A marathon runner turned golf fanatic, Dave Patterson is a results - oriented leader who "wants each Y2G client to realize improved business measurements and a significant value from our work. I want all Y2G clients to be delighted with our results."
Patterson manages the Washington, DC office of Y2G Associates and is focused on developing strategy, vision and key processes that deliver specialized solutions and execution to our clients. Industry renowned for his expertise in ebusiness, supply chain and business intelligence solutions to mid-market and Fortune 500 manufacturing and distribution clients, Patterson began his career in the United States Air Force as a Logistic and Maintenance Officer. From 1978 - 1995, Patterson held several industry and management position at IBM Corporation and has more recently served as vice president and general manager, integrated supply chain solutions for TRW/BDM International, Inc; and, as chief executive officer and co-founder of FutureNext Consulting, Inc.
